They're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain...
Wednesday, Oct. 01, 2003, 4:52 p.m.

Speaking of in-laws, I forgot to mention earlier the wedding gift that ticked me off the most. Actually, pretty much the only gift that ticked me off. Hah! Unsurprising that it should have been from a member of Anthony's family... (hmmm, maybe I should ease off on the in-law bashing... well, at least after this post because, well, that's really what this post is all about!)

A set of 5 hypnotic CD's (4 of which were burned and are probably illegal copies that she didn't pay for) from SILTB's... uh, whoops, she's now the sister-in-law, not the sister-in-law-to-be... anyway, from her work all focusing on: weight loss. I found that incredibly offensive. Yes, I'm going to come and cause drama throughout the entire 2 weeks leading up to the wedding, make you stress out about whether or not I'll cause drama AT the wedding, cause minor ripples of discontent the day of, leave the reception right after the food is served and then give you a gift that is a) illegal; b) tells you I think you're fat; and c) causes concern because, ummm... well, I may have seen a few too many Pinky and the Brain episodes, but I can't help but hesitate to put on a pair of headphones and let some random stranger hypnotize me into doing who knows what??? I mean, really, it's probably all just some evil plot to take over the world by using the least fearsome segment of the population imaginable. And, while I do want to lose weight, I'd much rather resort to normal means, you know, sensible diet and exercise rather than some hokey hypnotic CD. On the other hand, I may just be harboring an abnormal animosity for the woman...
